Latest Updates from Our Project:

Last Week of the Campaign!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Dec 09, 2022 at 08:03:13 AM

Hey Arthurians! (yes, I'm sticking with that)... We are down to the last 7 days of the campaign. We have been hard at work over here finalizing packaging design and getting firm quotes for other materials. As we head into the weekend let us know if you have any games lined up to play! We are planning a large game of Lion Rampant reenacting Arthur's battle of Bedegraine against the Rebel Kings... I'll be teaching my nephew (a budding wargamer) how to play, so that's always an exciting moment. We'll be sure to post pics of the setup.

Let's continue our series on introducing the Knights and Characters with SIR MORDRED:

He was one of the Orkney brothers and a Knight of the Round Table until he began to plot his own rise to King and rebelled. He was Arthur’s treacherous nephew (or bastard son) and landed the fatal blow on Arthur at the Battle of Camlann, but not before receiving a mortal blow in return. Before this, he was an instigator of many evil plots and ruses.

A mighty enemy against Arthur in the end, and able to raise large armies against him. A fitting commander to lead your rebel forces against, the great, King Arthur!

Have a great weekend all!

Adding MORE to the "Tool Box" & Sir Lancelot
over 1 year ago – Sun, Dec 04, 2022 at 01:56:08 PM

I hope that everyone has had a great weekend thus far! We wanted to make the "tool box" add-on a bit more of a complete tool box with the addition of 4 Limited Edition Temple of the West branded Dice, and 6 mini dice for tracking health, rolling tests, or just to stack into fun shapes. So, along with the measurement gauge and tokens, you get dice too!

Now on to one of the most popular of the Knights of the Round, Sir Lancelot.

Sir Lancelot du Lac (of the lake) is the most renowned Knight of the Round Table, trained by The Lady of the Lake. Lancelot was the greatest warrior in Arthur’s court, fearlessly serving his king and queen. At no point in his life as a knight was he short of maidens, but Guinevere most of all was enamored with him. Unfortunately, his adultery with Guinevere led to a civil war and his eventual madness and downfall. A valiant character none the less to have leading your warband on a quest for greatness.

Until the next update, thank you all!

New Add On!
over 1 year ago – Fri, Dec 02, 2022 at 07:37:08 AM

We have crossed the 72 hour mark officially, so all of you who have backed thus far will receive Sir Meleagant for free (through Backer #127). We couldn't be more thrilled on day 4 with the funding amount sitting at 315% of our total goal

As promised, we have been working on something fun and highly useful as an add-on. Most of us play several rulesets for different games.  As this is a campaign for miniatures designed by one of the masters of rulesets, Daniel Mersey, we wanted to create a "tool box" for playing his most popular games. As a note, the art work has NOT BEEN STARTED yet for the tokens and might still be tweaked on the measurement gauge. The tokens are going to receive amazing illustrations representing the action by Steve Beckett. We are excited to have him on board to complete these illustrations as he has done similar for other games and they look masterful.

This set of measurement gauge and tokens is a combo for playing Lion Rampant/Dragon Rampant and Song of Arthur and Merlin. The measuring gauge features all 3 lengths required to play SAM as well as 1, 3, 4, and 7 inch measurements on 3 sides. The tokens are double sided and feature the most useful tokens that you'll need throughout each of the games.

These will be made of MDF for durability, but they will be printed in full color on both sides by the masters over at Sarissa Precision.  We wanted these to be made of high-quality materials so they could last a lifetime, since we can all agree that these rulesets have lasted the test of time as some amazing ways to push toy soldiers around a table.

This add-on will be available for $12.  Again, the artwork has not been started for the tokens yet

And the Reverse Side

Now, to continue our series of introducing the Knights, I think it's appropriate to talk about this Sir Meleagant fellow

Known as a wicked, resentful knight who abducted Guinevere and defeated Sir Kay in the process. Lancelot had no other choice than to pursue him while having to overcome Meleagant’s archers and other ruses. Rather than duel with Lancelot, he twice surrendered before trapping him in a dungeon. Unable to avoid a third duel, he fought only when Lancelot’s arm was tied behind his back (still losing). A great guy all around as we can see! The perfect antagonist for creating legends on your own table.

Thanks for all the comments and support everyone! Again, sharing this project will help it continue to grow and allow us to possibly pull out some more surprises.

All the best,

Now with AUS Friendly Shipping!
over 1 year ago – Thu, Dec 01, 2022 at 07:36:29 AM

We have secured our shipping partner for Australia which will take away all of those pesky import fees! This also allowed us to reduce the estimated shipping cost per backer in that region.

We are still working on making this EU friendly and I think we are getting close, but no promises.

Today we wanted to start a series that will continue throughout the duration of the campaign of introducing the Knights and Characters associated with the Arthurian lore.

We think it's only appropriate to start with the King himself, Arthur Pendragon.

When he drew the Sword from the Stone, Arthur became Boy King. Bringing peace to the land, he was gifted the magical sword Excalibur by the Lady in the Lake. In his early quests, he slew monsters and defeated rebel knights and kings; in later years his knights did the same. Mortally wounded by Mordred at Camlann, he lived on in Avalon.

As always, THANKS SO MUCH for the support thus far!! Let's keep pushing! We are very close to the $10k mark where we can unveil a fun add-on that we have in the works.

Please continue to share the project on Facebook, Instagram, misc. forums, snail mail, or just yell at your neighbor about it from across the street!
